Once Upon a Family Give Away

If it’s not obvious by all the recipes I’ve been posting the last several weeks–I LOVE cooking! One of the best parts about having my own website/blog is that I have a place to store all those delicious recipes in one spot that’s accessible from almost anywhere. But still for some reason if you were to visit my kitchen you’d see an entire overloaded shelf dedicated to cookbooks. If there’s a recipe you’ve been trying to find…I probably have it.

You know what my favorite recipes are though? The recipes that have been handed down to me from family and friends. Whether it’s my take on meals my mother cooked or recipes handed down to me from my husband’s family, nothing beats bringing the family together to the table for something that’s traditional–handed down through the generations. That’s what I LOVE about Once Upon a Family!     I absolutely love the Our Family Recipes album. My brother is getting married in August, and being a full time art student I don’t have much money to buy them a pricey wedding gift, but he loves my cooking and when his fiance met our family this Christmas she begged me to come stay with them and teach her how to cook so I decided I would make them a personal cookbook but wasn’t sure how. This would be absolutely perfect because the style fits them so well.
