When I was contacted by the makers of Skin MD Natural a few weeks ago to try their all natural skin shielding lotion I was a little skeptical that their lotion was going to be everything that their press release said it was going to be. Now, I’ve heard a lot of companies make a lot of claims in my blogging career, and as a person with classic combination/oily skin I’ve tried a lot of skincare products. So when my bottle of Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion arrived I immediately poured some on my hands to see how it felt. My surprise–absolutely non-greasy! I didnt even think that was possible for a lotion and I’ve tried many! The lotion was also colorless with no hint of fragrance (not neccesarily a favorite of mine since I love fragrance).
The next morning, I tried Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion on my face after first washing it and before applying my makeup in the morning. Without a doubt this lotion is the best lotion I have ever used on my face–and I’ve been using a favorite for several years now–and it even helped my makeup stay on better and cover more evenly. In fact, my face a few hours later wasn’t as oily as it usually is in the evening and I saw improvement in the texture along my T-zone just a few days later. Not a scientific claim by any means, but I still feel that this lotion kept its claim of helping my skin to retain its natural moisture and oils therefor resulting in no overproduction of oil at the end of the day.

My husband and I found it quite useful for other more intimate uses in the bedroom because of its hypoallergenic and super-hydrating qualities.
